Question. Would a pigmy angel fish and a vermiculated angle be good together. I am thinking about getting a vermiculated angle, but I don't want them to kill each other. What are your thoughts?

Unless you have a huge lagoon like Bang Guy-DO NOT put ANY angels together.
All your books, all your fish descriptions-check out this site as well-tell you NEVER to put more than one angel in a tank. Sometimes the rules can be broken-with huge huge reef tanks or you might just luck out, but it is NOT worth the risk. Find another fish like a wrasse to go with whichever Angel you prefer.

thanks, I guess that I can just get another tang. I currently have 1 purple tang. What do you think about a salfin tang. They might be buddies

Again, not a good idea. Just how big is your tank anyway? These are good sized fish you are talking about.
Why dont you try something entirely different? There are so many fish to choose from out there. Go for different body shapes. Similar fish-ie tangs or angels-have the same diets in the wild so this makes them competitive and aggressive towards each other. Unless a fish is naturally a schooling/shoaling fish, it is best to get just one of a kind.

I disagree on a couple of points. Though it would be easier if I knew your tank size sjohnny8. Tangs go great together as long as they are not from the same family. The purple and the sailfin are in the same family so they would not work out. You could get a blue/hippo tang, convict tang, yellow tang, or one of several other choices. Assuming you have a 125 or larger. Also, I disagree with not being able to keep 2 dwarf angels in the same tank. If you introduce the less aggressive one in to the tank first you can have more luck. I've got 3 dwarf angels in my 125 who all get along swimmingly. Though I wouldn't recommend doing more than 2 and pick the types you put in carefully.
