Animal found on live rock???

This little fellow has been on the rock since I spoted him 2 weeks ago when i got my live rock and seems to be doing fine. I thought it was some kind of feather duster. He sets back high up on the rock and can not get a pic of it.
However my new MH lights came in today and now I can see him well, and it was feeding itself!!! it took in a good size piece of brine shrimp and grab it as it floated by him, it curled the tinticals towards the mouth and ate it quick!! Now I think it is some kida coral it has a central mouth surrounded by tentacles light translusant brown in color his foot is also see through I could see the shrimp inside of him after he ate it. Is it some kind of orange cup coral, that is the closest match I could find, but he is brown looking he is about a inch high, his tinticals spread out to almost the size of a quarter.
any thoughts what he could be?

To me, it sounds like a majano or apitasia anemone... they're nuisance anemones, so I would get rid of it. But you might want to wait for some other replies.

As stated before and now verified by your pictures, that is either a majano or an apitasia anemone. These are not good!!! If you are not familar with how to remove these from your tank, check online for suggestions or visit your LFS to get their suggestions.

Peppermint Shrimp ?? will they work I only "see this one"

With Peppermint Shrimp you take a chance that the shrimp will actually eat the bad anemone or won't eat it. It is a good idea to try this first, since the shrimp is not a bad thing to have in the tank anyways. If the shrimp does not work, then you can try something like Joe's Juice that was suggested earlier.

Get a peppermint shrimp. They will eat the small ones.
For the big ones:
Take some calcium and make a paste. Cover the aiptasia with the paste. Be ready with an air-tube a bucket and some fresh saltwater. First turn off all the flow in the tank. After you put the paste on the aspasia it will go everywhere. Use the tube to create a syphon and suck it up. Add fresh salt water to replace what was syphoned off. Depending how bad they spread you may need to do this several times.
