yea I'd like to see that idaho grape monti. those are nice looking corals. I picked up a pink monti this weekend.
How long have you had those gorgs? I've had a red one for about three months now, it only blooms out a few times a week and I've noticed a few of the tips getting pointed and brittle like it's starting to die off a bit. I feed it frozen rottifers and that usually gets it to blooming out.

For a couple months now. Theres a chili in there too, but its so small it doesnt make a good pick yet. Mine SEEMto be ok. I've never seen all the polyps opened up at one time, but a few of 'em every day. The 135 is low lit, with only 2, 30w NO flourescents. I have 2 more that I use from time to time when taking pics etc. I'll have to try the rotifers.

So far he hasnt bothered anything in this tank. I caught him perched over my chili coral for a while, but it didnt hurt the chili.

Awesome shots! Almost as if you had each fish taken to a studio with black background and they posed :)
What kind of camera do you have?

Thank you spiderwoman
You know, I shot pics most all day that day. Crawling all over that tank. I have no real idea how many I took. But just ended up with a handful of good shots. Most of them are posted here. It was worth all the effort though. I have an 8mb Canon Rebel XTI, with a 18-55mm stock lens. It's a great camera, I still don't know exactly how to use it.

Happy Anniversary! I'm also having an anniversary month, in more ways than one. My 125 is one year old and I will be taking pics for my Anniversary thread at the end of the week.
(Oh, and my second anniversary is my husband and I have been married for 14 years.)
BTW, LOVE Anna!

Thanks!
and Happy Aniversery to you too...twice.

I love Anna too, She's a real ham.
She's just like a dog, follows me everywhere I go, well as far as she can. Runs and darts into the rocks whenever anything she doesnt like goes on in my office. But rules the tank cause shes the alpha fish!

Big ole chicken!
Parkay is a stunt fish, he likes to start at the left side of the tank, down low, swimming towards right. Picking up speed as he goes. Then just as he gets to the end, he swims up along the glass to the surface ,at which point hes upside down and then does a few complete loops. Just to roll out at the top eventually. It's verry funny.
Like an airplane doing loops and a barrel roll. You can allmost tell how many he'll do by the speed he's reached when he starts going up.

Crazy fish!
Cerise, the basslet doesnt like the hermits. She'll come swimming out of the rocks with one in her mouth, spit it out into the SB, then set there and watch it for a few seconds as if to say "And stay out". I see her do this a few times a week. It's funny too.

Mean ole bag!
Who says fish arent arent real pets? They give me just as much joy as my 2 dogs do.

yeah i just bought and set up a 135 gal, and it came with a 8" sailfin tang, and my brother helped me move it, but i had called another fello reefer to help me move the sucker, and i gave him the tang out of it, and my brother asked me later way i would give him the more expensive fish and i told him becuase my sailfin tang and him would not have gotten along, and olbedanged if im giveing flasher away hahaha, kinda a bond that you get with your fish..meaning i didnt have a bond with that 100+ fish, and mine about 5.5" worth probly 60-70 at LFS was just well worth more to me then the bigger one is all, my fish follow me around the tank, even with my hand in there, they know who i am, and people ask why they will not follow them and i just tell them its becuase they know the hand that feeds them, and they think its time for food, hahaha but they will follow me weather i have food or not, and will run when they see someone else all day long, i love my fish and wouldnt trade them enless it was for their betterment
