If someone could tell me what kind this is for sure it would be great. Secondly I would love to know how to get it to attach to SOMETHING. It was in the sand for a while but then suddenly kept rolling around my tank. Has been here for 2-3 months. Thanks.

Thanks for the quick replies. What kinda light and flow does it like? Maybe I can assist it there.

Rolling around is not normal for a healthy one...I didnt metion in my earlier post be cause the pic it looks attached to the rocks. If an anemone does not attach then thats a sign of sickness as well as the ( what looks like in the first pic ) a gapeing mouth, as well as a whiteish color ( bleaching ). Sebaes need to be healthy when purchased, not dyed ( most yellow ones are ) and under strong lighting.

So what you are telling me is this is not healthy? If so do you have any suggestions?

You know your system and the history of that animal better than I do. I cant tell much from a couple of photos and you havent offered much information.
I have given you a common and scientific name of the anemone and a short list of indicators to think about. That is plenty to help you begin researching what they need. Many articals on the web and threads here have been written....
My suggestion is to read them. I dont mean this to sound harsh, its just that you can learn much more by researching youself.
Also you should know that it helps us to help you if you tell us the history and details of the animal and the system its in.
