Another Cyano Post

Well this is a cyano post, but its not what I would consider a problem. Just an unusual location to see cyano show up.
Yes the astrea snail is very much alive. And yes this is the only place I have cyano in my entire tank.. LOL. I am cluless as to how it decided to start growing on it.

I think the shrimp is going in for closer look too! He might have to do some cleaning!!
I would take your snail out and clean it off.

Yea right after the picture was taken I did just that..... gave him a nice fresh water bath..............................
ok that was a joke...lol. Seriously I rinsed him off in some SW and placed him back in the tank. Just odd to see it on him..

Maybe he thought he needing to spruce up the looks of his shell. Now you went and messed it all up.....sheesh.

+1 That little street walkin snail liked that red makeup and you went and washed it off. Her pimp shrimp gonna beat her now!!

Thats ok my daughter asked if we could put some bling on it last night... LOL well she didnt use the word bling, she asked if we could put a diamond on its shell. Translation, she has these self stick little plastic jewels for decorating crafts and stuff. I told her I would think about it.. Lauging about it now I think it would look funny to super glue one of those small little plastic jewels on a hermit or snail shell. I really cant think of a single reason how it would be mean or hurt anything actually... its plastic and we use superglue in our tanks all the time... This could turn out to be funny... LOL.

LOL I know I was thinking that.. what if... the idea of decorated snail shells.. it would look like a treasure at the bottom of the sea... LOL.
