ammonia is gone but my trites and trates are still really high? anyone can guesstimate how much longer until my tank is done cycling? tank has been up for three weeks and it has 50lbs of live rock in a 100g? also tank is at 80 degrees is that alright or is it sort of high?

Thats great!!! I dont know where there the nitrates or nitrites coming from! If your ammonia is 0 then should everything else.

Dont do a change until your nitrites are at 0. You will make the cycle longer. Be patient. It takes time for the bacteria to convert.

Its ok. We all make mistakes. No big deal. Just wait until the trites are 0, then do a 40% change followed by smaller 10% changes to get the nitrates under control. Good luck.

it is often recomended on this site to do a partial change during the cycle... its up to you IMO... the trItes will drop soon... your temp is fine 76 to 82 depnding on what you have in it... just dont let it fluctuate that dramatic...
