Another Frag Pack From Max!

I received my frag pack on Wednesday and am extremely pleased with what I received
Now it's a learning process and I am nervous about doing everything properly. I've done research, but I could use any pointers that you experienced reefers have to offer.
Here is a picture of the side of the tank where I currently have all of the frags

On top is the Eden Micromussa. I initially had it on the bottom of the tank and moved it as high as I could over the last 2 days. Max stated that he has the mother colony 6" from his MHs. I've got T5s so I'm guessing that it will be fine here.
On the middle ledge is the Aqua Blastomussa.

On the bottom I have the rest of the frags
Here is another Blasto. I'm wondering if it looks like a little bleaching is going on over on the right side. I've got this located partially under a ledge now, initally had it out towards the front of the tank.


As far as feeding...what is best? I've read that they don't need food since they are photosynthetic, but I belive that max would feed them mysis.

Goniopora...a little more nervous about this one as I have read that they are more difficult to care for so any pointers would be very helpful for this coral.

Sorry, getting sidetracked it's a Leptastrea pruinosa, fast grower It'll develop deep purple skirts and green eye's if kept under indirect light...Leptastrea's are one of those corals that a lot of reefers skip over, this one is nothing special but nice colors. Once you start looking around you see that there some incredible colormorphs, easy coral to keep IMO.......

The frag you actually have is a test frag to measure growth and color vs placement in my frag tank. It was also a test frag to determine the best way to frag a LPS like this. I've used hacksaws, screwdrivers, razors, knifes, hammers and just about anything within grabbing reach..LOL..Almost impossible to kill IMO and thrives on being fragged....If you could do me a favor and let me know what happens to this particular frag, color, growth etc.

Thank you...I am very please with this frag pack! This is definitely addicting and I can't wait to add more!
The coraline still gives me a fit. It turns white then turns back to purple in spots then another area on the glass will turn white. I've been dosing with B-ionic and I've order some Red Sea Coral Pro salt. I'm hoping the new salt mix will help keep my calcium at the proper level.

No problem...I'm sure you are busy, I'm just glad that I know now. I had originally placed it on my sand out in the open and it didn't open very much at all. Then after my daytime lights went off I noticed that it started opening more so the next day I moved it so it didn't get direct light. I am planning on moving it off the sand once I break it from the plug, but it will be placed under an overhang. Do these require target feeding?
Do you have any pointers for the Goniopora? I want it to last a long time.

Lovely corals. As far as the goniopora, you have a very slim chance that it will last longer than 6-8 months. Unfortunately there is nothing you can really do about that.
The flesh slowly recedes from bottom to top.

It can't be that hopeless. Gotta be something to keep this around long term.
