Turned out lights today and watched my rock come to life, newest thing of notice is a small raised area on one rock has 2 long tentacles coming out. They are white about 1 mm thick, and about 2 inches long. They seem to be searching the rocks within reach for food particles and they retract quickly. At first I thought maybe it was a bristle worm, but these are smooth like an anemone (like a pink tip but much thinner). I wish i could get a pic, but its only out in the dark and with it being white/translucent I doubt it'd show well. Oh I also don't think its a digitate hydroid as this doesnt have the little nobbies on it like those do.
I'm sorry to ask so many questions here but out of all the boards i've read/posted on this one is the best with answers and staying friendly. Eventually I'll have learned enough to help out the next generation of noobies
