Another Lawnmower Blenny Question

I have had this attention craving creature for about 3 months now, he seems to be eating the algae on the substrate all the time but he looks a little thin. I have been putting in nori(sp) sheets but he doesn't seem to care.
Any ideas on what may get this guy to put some weight on?

does he eat any of the food you feed the tank. cause i got a LMB and mine is a pig. well ive had mine for almost 4 years so he eats stuff right out of my hand. but as far as mine goes i know he loves nori, table shrimp, and frozen mysid. but yours may be too new to go after any of these foods. and if he eats pellets you can get formula 2 pellets to give him the algae he needs.

Mine eats nothing except what grows on the rocks, sand or glass. Never seen him eat anything I feed the tank, algae sheets included. These are very active fish so weight gain is a slow process unless he pigs out like Reefiness' LMB.

Mine's exactly like Alabama Reefer's. He will only eat what is growing in the tank.

Many of these fish will simply not accept prepared foods. Once the algae in the tank is gone, they slowly starve to death. You can try rubber-banding some nori to a piece of rock, spirulina flake or even algae wafers, but I've lost two to starvation with the same experience you are having.

This is frustrating, my friend down the street has one that is obese, it tears apart nori sheets all day long. How can these things be so different?
