Another lighting question

I am starting a 55 gal with about #40 live rock and some lace rock. The intention to be a reef tank with 3-4 fish. 79-80º w/chiller, wet dry 3 gal and 9gal. sump. Berlin 60 airlift skimmer ( I know kinda small), 2x rio 2200 and a rio 600. PC 4x65 watt 10k and 2 96w actinics. Should the actinics come on about 1hour before and stay on until an hour longer after the 10k's.assuming that equals about 12 hours of lighting? Are the low wattage moon lights of any value for the other 12 hours or some period therin?Also about how far from the waters surface should the lights be? Lots more questions to come. Thanks º¿º

I have the same set up as you.
1 hour before and 1 hour after on the actinics and my lights are 3" to 4" off the water.
The benefits of the moonlights are debatable

I just ordered a moomlight. I can't wait to see it. I don't know if it will help the tank really but I'd like to see the effect of the light. I love watching my critters.
