Another lighting question

Hey all, i've been lurking on this board for quite some time and just wanted to say thanks for all the great advice. Now on to the question. The link at the end of this post is to an article that claims that you could run a 40w bulb in the IceCap 66o ballast and produce almost the same amount of light as a traditional marine bulb. Has anybody seen anything else about this? And, could this be true? It would save me a lot of money in the long run.

I'm very interested to hear what the sharks think about this one. That's about the price of the 220 watt pc I was considering, and it sounds like more light for the $$$$. Hmmmm.
