Another PS Question

I'm trying to find the right skimmer for myself but I'm not sure. It was recommended to me to get the Prizm skimmer. I'm not sure about the pro because I don't want this HUGE thing in my tank. I just need something simple that will for 1. not cost $879458430, 2. something that won't have the foam overflowing back into my tank and 3. something that won't be HUGE in my tank. If someone could help me out, that would be great!!!

I'm not sure how much help I will be but I have been looking at skimmers lately and here is what I found in my research.
The better low end skimmers seem to be the Coralife Super Skimmer, or possibly the Prizm you were looking at. I think overall I saw more votes for the Coralife though. I would have ordered one of those myself but they were really going to be pushing the size I have for my tank. I have a 60g hex tank so there is not a lot of room under the cabinet. I also did some reading that recommended to not skimp on the skimmer and I think I have to agree with that. Having said all of that I ordered an aquac urchin which should be arriving in a couple of days. The cost was a bit more yeah but from the look and reviews for it,, plus the ease of maintenance it was the choice for me. I would also recommend reading over in the Equipment DIY section on these forums. Lots of good info there. Good luck with your decision.

The upper echelon skimmers for that size tank are the Coralife Super Skimmer, AquaC Remora, and Excalibur.
Stay away from Prizms, Kent's, Jebo's, and SeaClone's.

I would steer clear of the coralife for in tank use, I have one they are great for use in sumps but they tend to dump micro bubbles back into the tank. I would go with the aqua c remora or excaliber.
