Another question

I have pc lighting and have always had the glass still on part of my tank, with egg crate in the back. Should I take off the glass lid? I ask because I am looking at everyones tank and most people dont have a lid on theirs?

It helps with gas exchange to not have any kind of covering on a saltwater tank.

The glass lids will also reduce the light getting into your tank. It may also heat your tank up. I thought about egg crates but I'm to late, most of the fish in my tank that jump are already a cat snack.
