Another silly question, about algae

OK, when reading about the diet ofa certainl fish and it says it eats "natural algaes" what exactly does that mean?

Some fish will eat filamentous algae such as your new little blenny. And some fish such as tangs will eat certain types of macro algae like caulerpa, etc. My tanks LOVE my grape caulerpa.
