Another ***** Steal!!!

Since I have no LFS and I was in the area that had a ***** tonight I went in to buy a tub of salt...well I always go look at what they have....I have attached a pic...they had 2 pieces of "Live Rock" for $9.99 each...WELL each piece is covered with a zoo colony....I am not sure what exactly they are, but I AM SURE they are worth more than $9.99...I BOUGHT BOTH..
Can anyone tell me what they are exactly??

I have one zoa like that that popped up on a piece of rock...don't know what the name of it is but I hope it reproduces....looks good. It's already opening in the bag.

hahaha i did the same thing this week.. they had a nice bright neon green toadstool. The guy had no idea what it was and gave it to my for 9.99 as well. i am waiting on it to open. yaaaa.. they never know what they have in the tanks by me they always guess what it is and i am always walking out with some kind of deal...

The girl even called over the manager...and then they had to ask me how to bag them. I think if gthey are going to sell living things, they need to train people what to do with them. I don't fault the girl...she had no clue..LOL...I made out on that one.

Wow! Great buy there! Yeah, ***** is not the place you think of for corals, but then again my experience with them is that they almost never know more about their products than their customers do.
Can't wait to see some pics of them in your tank!

I can't bring myself to go to our ***** even if they have a steal.... their fish looks like a leper colony more than something beautiful out of the ocean. Sad.... they either don't know any better or don't care.. people bring them home -- wipe out their tanks... and give up on the hobby.
But.. great find on your new zoos!

The one by my house had an 8" queen angel for 39.99 a few years back. At the time I only had a 55g and was really bummed. It died a week later. I knew it was gonna because they had it in a 20g tank and probably weren't giving it any sponge material. They are now out of business. Real shocker.
