i have decided to get the purple tang and todays poll is for either the hippo tang or the achilles tang... decisions decisions:thinking:

Yea, get the achilles tang, They are a bit more exotic, but I'm going for a hippo at my own tank. (achilles wont fit). Hey, by the way, i'm a BLUE HIPPO TANG NOW!!! LOL.

chandler04 most ppl wouldnt put a tang in a 55. its not enough room for them they need at least 6 ft of swimmin space i think.... you might be able to get away with it but for most tangs they will live but not thrive:nope:

chandler04 you said in the other post that you have a yellow tang in your 55 all ready? if this is true there is no way you can put a hippo in there and have both of them survive. in a 55 1 tang is pushing it but to put 2 of them in there you must be crazy. for the sake of the fish only put one in there...:nope:

thanks for the advice waterfaller. i plan on seeing the fish i get from the lfs eat b4 i buy. and if they wont feed it i wont buy it cuz i was listening in on another hobbyists convo at a pet store i will leave unnamed and he was lookin at a harliquin(sp?) tusk i think and he asked them to feed it and they made up all these excuses like they just fed 5 mins ago or he was new and wouldnt eat ne ways. and after a couple mins of listening to this guys crap the buyer just walked away lol
