Everytime I approach my DT it hides behind all my rock. This has been in my tank for about 8 days and hasn't eaten a thing. Suggestions?

Have you tried a product called "Cyclop-eeze"? This is a great food for reluctant feeders. I had forgotten about until someone on this site suggested it.

goodluck, very shy fish imo. I had three perish on me because they wouldnt eat. It also depends on what type of anthais. You could try as suggested but also try soaking your food in garlic, that may work as well. HTH

Its not so much refusing the food, its more because it hides (wedges itself between filter and rock) and everyone else eats the food. Its terrified of me and swims away.

thats why most species do better in numbers. It is uncomfortable to be in a new setting without other anthias. buy more or hope it comes out before its too late. what kind of anthias? there are some exceptions.
