Pink square females are easy, as are Bartlett's. Male pinksquare is a different story. They need a much larger tank than most people have, and often resort to fighting their reflection. It was the death of mine, and my friend's as well.
I have a male and a female squarespot. In the beginning, each had theuir nose to the glass and pushed to get out. This behavior did go away. My female is developing a spot and bigger spike in the front. Keeping an eye if it is changing ---. Sure hope not. Love the orange color.
Thanks all.Our lfs has one that theyve owned for 2 months,we may give him a try.We are going to stock only 5 or 6 fish and we are trying to be very selective.
