first of all what kind of puffer because some of the puffers can be fed in different ways....if it is a porcupine, i would not feed him brine shrimp, i would feed him krill and clam with the occasional snail. if it is a toby like the valentini puffer i would feed him stuff like the brine shrimp with spirulina in it and the occasional veggie because they need an omnivorous diet. if it is a puffer like the dogface they will eat brine shrimp but u should be feeding him something more substantial like krill, clam fortified foods.

ok i've had porcupines before and they didn't like it at all...they spit it out...krill is kindof like a small shrimp...you can buy it either frozen or freeze dried at the lfs. but in order to start eating you might have to feed them live first like a small molly or platy. when u get them to start eating krill they may be hesitant at first but within a few days they will literally jump at the krill...good luck

I HAVE A SPINY BOX PUFFER AND I FEED IT KRILL AND GOLD FISH. MOST PUFFERS WONT EAT BRINE SHRIMP INLESS IT IS A FUJIAN PUFFER THEN THATS WHAT I WOULD FEED THEM.

NO FRESHWATER FEEDERFISH AS FOOD they will get a disease because freshwater fish have too much fatty acids in them and it can give your salt water fish a deadly disease. it might be ok to start him interested in fish but dont feed him that for longterm. alright?

actually it's ok to feed them mollies...but definitely goldfish are the worst to feed saltwater. when the porcupine becomes use to krill then get him to eat stuff like silversides

the trigger probably would if he's a good eater and you havn't been feeding him the same thing day in day out. if you have you will have to get him use to eating other foods. the koran would too if it is either big enough or you cut up the pieces, but the koran should be fed sponge more than anything.

ohh i hate LFS that push brine shrimp on unknowing habbiest.they push the brine because its cheap for them they mark it up ok its kinda cheap for us too but ever wonder why?unless the brine is vitemin fortified brine has the nutritional value to fish as popcorn has to humans zip zero notta yes you can live on it for a short amount of time but how long do you think your body will run properly you will eventually starve.if you insist on brine please make sure its supplimented.
