ants in my tank!!!!!!!

i know there not ants but i saw something that looks like an ant walking around on my live rock in the back....what is this???is it bad? is it just a little shrimp. will my humu humu or puffer eat it?

If you're talking about what I think you're talking about it's good. Look in the hitchhikers post in the FAQ section, they have pictures of some of the ones that are too small for most people to get a good picture of.

i only saw 2. i have 2 different colors of rock. some is purple. and some it whiteish baige with purple spots. they were on the purple rock. the rock isnt taht new but i did get the purple rock from a very established tank with some reef and on the rock i got snails and some feather dusters so im assuming it came from that rock..not the white rock. what do pods do?

LOL Maybe if you give us an analysis of it's stomach contents and verify it's current life stage, we could determine it's potential effects on your enclosed biosystem.
