Toronto? Where's that??
I'm from Calgary, and we have a small shop out here that's been around for YEARS, Wai's Aquarium. If you're ever passing thru on the #1, look for him across the street from Peter's drive-in, a local landmark. His corals and aquacultured rock are the best around.
Of course, we also have Big Al's but it's across town.
Cheers to all fellow Canucks!

Not I, I live in the heavily (cough) populated state of Kansas. We get all of our power from windmills driven by tornados! One question, does Canada even have a military? :p

I thought I'd help out Canadian Reefer by bumping this up by his post. I have nothing against Canada, I actually miss my trips to Brittish Columbia when I lived in Seattle.

Have you guys ever been to the San Juan Islands up by B.C.? Beautiful place for whale watching and great for playing in tidepools. Beware of the crabs though, they grow quite large up there! The Pacific Northwest is a wonderful place to live!!! Great oysters up there too!

Donato -- been to Pisces Pets many times, but their coral and rock doesn't shine like Wai's. Good to hear from you!
P.B. -- My wife's brother and his family are moving to KC, MO shortly from Chicago. Anything worth seeing there in KC??

I'm not sure. I've been stuck here for 13yrs now and havn't seen anything unique other than great BBQ. If you like to eat or want to raise a family, KC is perfect, but if you want a nightlife or anything controversial, don't bother looking here. The Plaza is nice and we now have Union Station, but I'll never see KC as a tourist destination. If they'd get off their arses and put in an aquarium, I'd be happy living here. Johnson county is also a great place if you like money. Lots of new money here and more shiny new cars than you can shake a stick at!

HEY! You know, I spent part of my honeymoon on a small private island off one of said islands. Very memorable, and yes the tidepools were amazing. And SCALLOPS! Holy smokes!
Glad you brought that up...
