It is very similiar to Kick- Ich. The active ingrediant is an antiobiotic similiar to metrodonizale, but only for water. It kills Ich in its free swimming mode which breaks the ich cycle. It takes about a month of treatment to kill all the ich so don't listen to the instructions on the back stating use for only 15 days. Ich can take up to 3 weeks for the eggs to hatch. People are going to tell you a lot of advice on this board. A lot of people like to do things the way they are accustomed to, like copper treatments and hypsosalinity. However in my case I have a reef tank with corals, fish, and invertebrates. it would be impssible to move verything and catch everything, with out ripping aparty my tank. Ive used to Kick-ich and have been succesful with it. Also supplement your food with garlic while doing your treatment. It is something that you can't go wrong with. Also i have heard melafix may work to, which can be bought at walmart, however i have no experience with this. Hope this helps and good luck....
