Any Computer Geeks Out There? Both Pc And Mac

KMPlayer 2.9.3.1214 says its supposed to play RAR files but I dont know anything about this program. not sure if it works with mac though you might go to downloads.com and search through there and see if there is somethig else that will work with mac

Thanx Mike, your always seeming to want to help, no matter what the subject but KMPLAYER is only PC based.

where did the file come from that you are trying to open.?
RAR is usually associated with cell or ipod stuff.

My friend is trying to send me a compressed video clip from his PC.. its very popular with PC'S from what im hearing.

I have a Mac and use a program called UnRarX to open up .rar files. Found it for free through a google search.

Rar is a compression format just like zip. You need to use a program such as Winrar to extract the movie file. Then it will likely be in a standard format for you to play.

YES but i dont think WINRAR supports MAC, does anybody know this for a fact? REGARDS

OK I lied in my previous post. Winrar does support mac.

Hi Shogun,, Stuffit doesnt UNSTUFF .rar movies though, i just tried it,, what a pain in the a, something that should be so "easy"
