Hi,
Are there any corals that help reduce phosphates? I use RO/DI water, but still have some hair algae. I have a LM blenny and a Yellow Tang, along with crabs and snails to help.
I heard that zoos will use up phosphates in the water and help reduce algae. Is this true or am I wishing too much :D
Thank you for all the help :)

all Phytosyn coral will sue Po4, but not enough to reduce it, the Zooxanthellea will take some out(in the precipated form) while taking out other nutrients to transfer to carbs for the coral, but corals wont make a difference, a protien skimmer will take out more precipitated Po4 then any # of corals.
find the source i say.
