Maybe $100. I mean, you have a good skimmer for that tank(Thank you, and your welcome) so all we need is a pump and some pvc. I'm telling you just go out to chucks and get a mag drive. You do not need a big one. Get one rated at 300gph. Then a piece or two of pvc, heck, I may have enough here to do it. Or just get Connie or someone up there to get you there 50%

you mean we can use the skimmer i have on my tank right now for the sump. sorry you know i'm not the best at the mechanics part. umm, ok thank you (i'm a little confused about that). plus don't you think it might be a pain to set up a sump when i'm moving in about 6-8 months. but hey we could probably do it. i'll check on the price of a pump at b&b. uhh i just had to go in there today. but yeah check and see if you have any pvc at your house.

Well I can get a 10 gallon glass tank for $8.00 bucks - so it's like having $8.00 laying around, not going to change my lifestyle if I use it or not.
But ..... since you ask and have the tank,
Top 10 Things to do with a 10 Gallon Tank
1) refugium - you have the cheap part, you'd need a few more bucks, time and material to make one.
2) hospital tank for meds
3) QT
4) nano - again BIG bucks to make it reef, lights, rock, corals etc.
5) pod ranch
6) small FO tank or FOWLR maybe
7) snail or small invert tank
8) sump
9) macro algae grow out tank
10) terrarium or vivarium for plants or land critters

broomer i thought about making it a qt or hospital but well nevermind i'm not even going to jinx myself. i kinda want to make it like a refugium and sump in one.

This reminds me of that saturday night live skit from a few years back with the guys than ran the African artifact store. Customer asks "What can I do with this?" They answer "Well you can put your w******d in it!"
Sorry. I had a long day.

What I plan to do with my 10 gallon QT in the future is turn it into a small harvesting zone for caulepera, (sp?). Maybe even harvest pods in it too.. but I heard they ate caulepera? I'm going to looki into it more later, but I'll definetly turn it into a small plant harvesting tank. Lighting for a 10 gallon with plant life can be a little pricey but it's worth it in the long run.

i just finished my refugium, and it didin't cost me that much at all, maybe 20$. all you need to get is the pvc, some plexiglass ( make shure that you wash this really good before you put it in the tank) that you can get from home depot, some live sand, and a couple small pieces of live rock, for a ten gallon tank, maybe two or three pounds, and some marine sealent. you can actually use the return pump that you have on your tank now, but you really want to keep the water flow to a minimum. as for your skimmer. you can use the same one you have. he## after a while, you shouldn't even need your skimmer. anyone that has a refugium will be greatful to give you some calupara, must have plenty. if you need any help with you refugium, just e-mail me at coralfishg@aol.com. i'll be more than happy to help you ;)

How about a sea horse tank. I know a 10 is not the best for them but I also know many people have done it before with a ten.
