my banggai cardinal has reddish spots around his gills and his poops are like white thread. he is in QT treating for mild case of ich . is this some kind of internal parasite. i read that worms can cause poop to be white and thready. is this contagious?? what do i treat with antibiotics.

How are you treating the ich? Are you sure it is ich? Is the fish breathing rapidly?

i have copper in the QT. but am finding this is difficult in a 10 gallon tank cuz my amonia is rising. you do a water change and the copper level drops its crazy. now i look in my main dsplay tank and my flame angel has spots. i read several places that they do not tolerate copper well at all.
any suggestions
what else would look like ich? my fish arent breathing rapidly . i wouldnt say anyway. but white spots on them esp. fins.
