Any eel recommendations?

I'm looking at getting a small eel and wanted some ideas. I had a moray long along in my last tank...but needed to get him goldfish to eat all the time.
Any recommendations for an eel that will thrive on just Brine shrimp or do they all require whole live fish?
On another note, I had two yellow tail damsels and two clown conditioning the tank. Now the damsel is really hasseling the clowns. If I had a

gun I'd shoot em. Not sure hw to get them out without ripping the tank apart. Maybe a moray would do it?

I would not recommend a moray eel unless your tank is 220 gallons. If you tank is smaller and you want to keep the fish you have, then a snowflake eel would be ok. The eat frozen silversides, and I'm sure would try brine shrimp. Also, live goldfish isn't very nutritous for them, unless you gut loaded them first.

Also you probably would want to get rid of the damsels and go for something more peacefull. Royal grammas are nice, just one for your tank. What size in your tank anyway, and how long has it been set up for?

Thanks...I'd been looking at the snowflake but wasnt sure how "peaceful" they were. I don't want to lose my crabs and shrimp to him....
The tank is a 36 G bowfront. It's been set up for about 2 weeks now and it's doing great. It was "cycled" in 48 hours (contrary to all the posts I read here all the time.) I started it with 12 lbs of live rock, 40lbs of live sand, and 36 gallons of Pacific Ocean water from *****. I threw in a couple of damsels and clowns, along with a daily dose of the powdered bacteria.
I've also got a dozen miscellaneous crabs, 2 corals, some small anemones and 5 turbo snails.
Using an DSB undergravel with a small power head. No filters or skimmers.
All chemicals reading perfectly... Ammonia and Nitrite at 0, Nitrate at 20....and all looks pretty good. (knock on wood).

a banana eel would probably be ur best bet, do a search on it. only gets 10 inches and you could give him supermarket seafoods.
