I agree completely wit hthis.
Also, snowflake eeels and zebra eels both are normally good about not eating tank mates.

yeah i want to get either a snowflake eel or the fuzzy dwarf, but i like my coral banded too much, as well as my peppermint shrimp. i have a pretty big coral banded shrimp thats about 2-3 inches, if i get a really tiny aggressive fish, we'll he stand a better chance?
and can i even keep these fish in a 72 bow?

A shrimp is the worst invert to work with. Pretty much all puffers, lions, and eels will eat them. Snce it's a cleaner shriimp, a SFE might leave it alone. a puffer will definitely nip at it, and even a small lion might try swalowing it.

Funny you say this. My blue leg hermit is missing all his legs, he has the claws but the legs are not there at all. I really wonder if my fuzzy dwarf lion decided to have a midnight snack on the poor thing. It is still alive, stays in the rock alot but I see it picking at the algae all the time. I hope the legs grow back on the next molt.
My snail is never bothered, I have one huge turbo the size of a golf ball. I have never seen my lion go after it.

Well I went on vacation to Oklahoma for 2 days just got back today and the crab is still there. He actually looks pretty good! So I guess all is well in my tank I dont think the lion is going to go after that crab after all.

Yes, me too. I have noticed that this morning my hermit crab does have legs. He might be a bit shy when the lion comes around but I did see those blue legs this morning. Glad to know he can get around.

Lions don't pick at things, they swallow them whole. If your crab is missing some legs, he is not the culprit.
