Are all of these lights crap ? Or is there some that are ok?
any good jebo lights out there?

i agree, many people have gotten junk or (so they say). i have the 48" PC lights with NO complaints what so ever. mine are eight months old and going great. but as stated, they are not UL listed. i`m not sure if i would ever buy them again though

I've never owned any jebo lights myself but a good thing to remeber is "you get what you pay for" I've heard from many people that the color of the actinic bulbs that comes with the kits are simply "blue" not a real beneficial color temp and that the kits that come with cooling fans either don't work or they are very loud.
If you want something reletivley inexspensive but not "cheap" , and are only looking for pc's I'd go with CURRENT brand they are a good medium IMO. And I have owned more then one set of these and will continue to buy them

I have heard all the stories, and from my personal experience I would recommend the newer versions. I have had two sets of pc's and now have a 785 watt MH/pc combo unit on my 180 and it is great. Good color, all fans work ,and it is very quiet. Only thing is the ballast box is big and gets hot so you will have to put a fan on it. I have three friends who also have the MH units and all are fine after months of use. I ordered from the Aqua traders site and have had no problems at all....Just my .02
By the way....the bulbs that come in my unit have excellent color and all corals are thriving. From shrooms to zoos , sps,,lps...clams and all.

ok well what I guess I was looking for , was, are their pc stuff ok and their mh stuff the problem or is it all about the same?

i have the jebo 48" lights with the 2 12,000k and 2 atinic lights with lunar lights. I just started my tank and i don't really see any problem with it. The only thing i would change is that they only put cooling fans on one side so the side on the opposite end of the cooling fans gets warm but i fixed it with a clip on fan. that seemd to fix that problem but other than that i think they are great. As far as fish and corals i haven't added them yet. just started my tank.
