any idea on how clams multiply?

Im pretty sure they spawn like corals and to be able to breed a clam has to be pretty old.

If i remember right clams release eggs into the water once a year or in certin seasons once they have released there eggs into the water they let out there sperm to fertilize them. There is a very low % of survival in captivity because they end up killing them selves in the aquarium with there sperm. :D

...they don't multiply well...I gave mine a simple set of 10 problems to do, and it only got 2 right. They can't subtract worth a damn either.
