Any idea on these critters?

I just went through a bout with ich and some other bacterial infection. Lost two lions and had to move my clowns to a hospital tank where they will sit for another 3 weeks to clear the water from whatever was in it.
In the meantime, the red-brown stuff that has constantly been on the bottom of my tank is clearing and the water is crystal. Today I noticed ALOT of little stuff in the water. On the back are all these little bugs that look almost like white millipeeds. They have segmented bodies, legs on each segment and small antennae coming out on what I assume is the head. Are these 'pods? The other things are small curly-q's on the glass. They too are white and look almost like the plug a snail has when it's forming a new shell. Should I be alarmed? Pleased?
I hated losing the Lions so I'm kind of paranoid right now.

Sorry to hear about your loss, it must be heartbreaking. As far as the critters go, they sure sound like pods to me!
Good luck!

Sorry for your loss - if you want you could send me some of those pods - I can't seem to get any to join my tank. as far as the white things - their baby barnicle like things - should be good forthe tank.

Nope they are good to the tank and are clearing things out for you! they are good copepods (spelling?) and way don't worry about them!~

these segmented things with eyes, a better description??
do they have a tail?
or front legs,a are there several segments or a lot?
ehlp me out , they may very will be pods, but there are alsoo a few other things that you could have too
if they have front "arms" that fold under(like a praying mantis), get a much better look at them and give a better descritpion, if they don't and also don't have a tail, then it probably isn't a mantis shrimp, htis is my only concern, otherwise fi they do, you need to make sure, just in case
now, if they are long and segmented, with many segments and no arms(only legs), just a bristle worm, nothing to worry about at all, oh and if there are a bunch of them, they probably aren't mantis(but still could be if they are larval)

No tails, no front legs. They're about the length of half the width of your small fingernal and almost transparent, so it's tough to count segments. I'd say there are between 6-10 segments per creature and it looks like a leg on each side per segment.

well, you should be fine, as long as the tail does not resemble the sahpe of a lobster's, and has no folding front appendages
