I had aptasia, I got the Joes juice and it works great but then I got some aptasia that was at an odd angle that I couldn't reach and everytime I looked at the tank I would spot another one growing...I got 5 peppermint shrimp and have not seen aptaisa since.

Lol I can see it now, 5 peppermint for one Aiptasia....... lol
I do know the feeling of "I'm SICK of this!" Because of not being able to get to/treat a problem in the tank!
Peppermint would give a long term solution to your problem, and get some enjoyment out of it (if there aren't any conflicts with the peppermint, in the tank already).

Here's the issue with Peppermints:
If you feed heavy, they'll stop eating the aiptasia because they don't have to scavenge as much. They get lazy and just assume they're going to be fed.
Larger aiptasia and peppermints don't mix well. I've seen them eat smaller pepps. I've also seen pepps irritate the larger ones, just to get them to release spores so that new smaller ones will grow.

+1 absolutly...so don't overfeed. The big ones zap with aptasia X or Joes Juice and let the peppermints live on the rest. Once they learn aptasia is their food they balance each other. You won't have any big ones anymore and never see the little ones...but that means you must keep peppermints in the tank from now on. At least that has been my experiance with them.

My xp with aiptasia and peps. Back around last november I picked up a couple of coral frags. Around a month later I had dozens of little aiptasia's all over my rocks. I picked up some aiptasia X and treated quite a few of them and it worked on those (they were small). However I had tons that were all inside my rocks and caves that were hard to get to and I didn't want to saturate my tank with chemicals trying to kill them all so I picked up a small-medium size peppermint shrimp. I'd say within 2-3 weeks I didn't see anymore of them left in my tank accept 3 larger ones in the middle of my zoos colonies. Anyway, the pep died back in febuary sometime and I still haven't seen any aiptasia return accept for the fact those 3 large ones are still there. I think I'm going to make me a diy aiptasia zapper and try to take them down. I'm getting tired of looking at them. I've treated them a couple of times with aiptasia X and each time it looks like I've killed them they come back within a week. I don't want to treat the heck out of them with the chemical because I'm afraid I'll wipe out a good portion of my zoos.

Just a quick update. The pest was indeed aptasia. When I put a needle on it the dead shrunk up into itself. So I doused it with joes juice. We will see what happens. Than everyone for the identification!!!! :)
