Any ideas as to what this is?

I've noticed about 10 olive green balls on my bubble coral about 1/4 inch around. They are hard. The coral seems to be dying on that one side. Anyone give me some direction?

Sure sounds like bubble algae to me. These are a nuisance algae, but not responsible for any problems with your corals. Most likely, your coral was already dying off in that area for reasons I'll have to leave you to figure out, and the bubble algae attached to the exposed skeleton.

Yes, do NOT pop them! Go buy an emerald crab or two and they'll take care of it for you.

the emerald crabs will eat the smaller bubble algaea but not the larger ones. But I think emerald crabs are great for your tank.
