Any ideas for sifting?

I love my Sandsifter Goby. Of course, it's a fish, but extremely entertaining. Works his little rear end off all day long, scooping up sand and small coral pieces and sifting or spitting them out somewhere else. Builds little caves for himself.

I talked to the guy who sold me the conch...it is a fighting conch. The size it is made it a bit hard to ID. So I think I will get maybe one or two more, since it does seem to do well. Thanks again.

I've heard gobies are pretty fun to watch, have personality. I'm thinking maybe in a couple months, adding a new fish. I am hesitant after loosing my two newest ones. I am definitetly gonna be more cautious this time.
Which goby is the "sandsifting"? Is there one called that or is it a family of gobies? I had been looking at both the clown/ and shrimp types for a little while?

I have a yellow cucumber. he's about 5" long fully extended. He is constantly working on my sand. He does excrete pretty clean sand in piles all over the place. I would recommend the yellow cucumber anyday! But I still need more help on the sand bed. Any other ideas?

please use very very crushed coral or sand. with the ss goby as sharp edges tend to cut and injure sand sifting creatures.
