Any ideas on what is happening?

My green mushrooms and my toadstool leather are not opened as full as usual. The ahriey mushrooms, the colt coral, the sand polyps and the button polys and the brown mushrooms are opened fully as usual. Any ideas why the others aren't? They have been doing very well for over two years.
PH 8.0 (can't keep it up to 8.3. I am using Seachem Marine Buffer)
PO4 0.5pmm
Nitates 10pmm
Nitrites 0ppm
Ammonia 0ppm
Calcium 450
KH 12 dK

How long have they been closed? Did anything bother them (fish, crabs, powerheads,or hands)? Lots of times a powerhead can come loose and shift a little. A stream of water may now be hitting them that previously just missed. Closing for a day or two after some irritation is common. Assuming nothing continues to stress them, they should open within a few days. If your other corals are doing well, I don't think the 8.0 pH is enough to bother them.

PO4 concentrations are said to be harmfull to corals, I think that might be the source of your problems. HTH

Another simple thought. you probably thought of this allready, but it has been getting warmer outside. Is your tank staying WNL on temperature?
