Any ideas?

This showed up in my tank about a week ago. It stays in the same area of rock and will sometimes move to the other side of the tonga. It's shape does vary depending on wether it's getting it's picture taken or being disturbed, not very photogenic. The Good? The Bad? The Ugly? Which is it?

Yup did not catch that. I stand corrected and agree with the Pseudocorynactis sp. identification.

As far as opening up, this is the biggest I have seen it. This morning it was stretched out about a half inch long from the rock, the top of it (what appears to be the mouth) didn't change when it went back into what is shown in the picture.

cprdnick is the one who got me started on saltwater aquariums, LOL, don't laugh at what he says, it will only boost his ego. He did say that you are very knowledgeable which is why I joined this forum. In your opinion, should "The Wart" stay in the tank or be removed? Thanks for your help.

In my opinion they (it will reproduce) add to the diversity of your reef. They eat pods as well as worms and fish food but they're not going to wipe out your pod population.

Cool, because over the last month or so it looks like I have been getting into the bristle worm production industry but on the other hand my aptaisia population, there were only a few, has diminished to none. I bought a peppermint shrimp to try and help with the aptaisia a couple of months ago, it was lazy, my aptaisia continued to grow and reproduce until the last two weeks. Uh, cprdnick, you sit 10 feet away from me in the same office, why would I listen to you in here if I don't listen you to at work? LOL, cprdnick, I must admit you are very knowledgeable on saltwater aquariums and your help is greatly appreciated.

Well, appearantly it likes where it's at. I hadn't seen it since my last post until this evening when I got home. I was looking for it where it was hanging out and then I noticed something that was out of the norm, it was on the underside of the bigger rocks. It has also gotten approximately 10 times bigger since I last saw it a couple of days ago. It's almost transparent and when you look down the center of it, it resembles a keleidescope, kinda cool actually. It was about the size of half a dime in the first pics but it's gotten a lot bigger since. I took these pics with my phone.
