yes Elvis was cool
. wonder if he is still alive or where it lives now. i did find a website all about miami vice. looked up info and found out alot of up to date stuff about Don Johnson. i would love to meet him, seems like a nice guy. but i did read years ago during filming he was always late and never wanted to listen to the production crew. they also almost didn't hire him,i forget who was going to get the spot before him. But nobody could play the part better then him. yes i remember seeing that cottage in a episode. i have heard of that key as family has a house in Cudjoe key 40mins from key west. it would be neat to take a tour of all the places they filmed at in miami and the keys. family toured the house they filmed Magnum PI back in the late 80's. i saw a interview. they interviewed them when they first staring hitting it big with the show, and PMT said that he bet even ten years after the show was off the air it would still be popular and not forgotten. he was right!

Yeah,
Don Johnson was cool, until he played the snob in Tin Cup. After that every time I saw him, he needed a three wood swung at him....LOL
I thought they followed the same motif in the movie, but Jamie Fox...sorry he ain't Tubbs. However, they should have spent more time in Miami....after all, it is Miami Vice!
Richard Olmos had the presence to be Don Johnson's boss, and still has that presence today. The TV show cast was almost perfect!

yea i loved the movie, but i agree with you, about locations and actors. to bad they couldn't have DJ,PMT play in the movie. i wonder how much better it would have been and might have made more money?

As I was going back threw the show and the cast, I found a tidbit where Olmos was the only one that Mann called back from the original cast. However, he turned it down.
