any one familiar with dripping method for acclimation?

i have a question if you are fimiliar with this method. once you have the tube set up and ready to siphon and the bucket on the ground, do you fill the bucket with the water from the fish bag then let drip? and if that is how u do it, do u cut a little hole in bag and let the bucket fill up and then cut the fish into the bucket? some one please help me with this. thx

i put the fish and the water from the bag in the bucket. then i start dripping from the tube.

just dump all at once? thx. but what if the bucket has like a larger surface area at the bottom and the water doesnt fill that high to keep the fish submerged all the way?

Tilt the bucket at a slight angle until you have dripped enough water.
