Ok here the deal. I bought the coralife lunar aqualight and the power center it turns out that the outlets are not really on timers individually I should say the first two turn off/on the day lights and 3rd and 4th outlets are for your lunar lights once the days lights go off the lunar turn on by passing the time setting. My question is, is this how it works or is mine faulty I have the times set and they work for the day lights but CLICK off go the days and CLICK on comes the lunar. The tank is right next to my bed and those little leds lights my tank up and give a glow in my whole room. If this is what they are supposed to do that sucks and I’ll chucking this in the garbage and getting analog timers. Any info would be nice

I use the Coralife Aqualight Lunar light sets. I found the same thing and had to use a third electric timer to set the actenic lights to go on/off an hour or so before/after the daylight lights. Those power switches have basically 2 time zone settings, daylight and night time. There is one other type of Coralife timer switch that has a dial on both ends, but I still wind up using two switches. It's a pain, I agree, but I love having 3 shifts of light, it is more like nature than just having a blast of daylight with metal halide and darkness at night. I like having the gradual progression of 3 different phases of light.
I wound up buying one extra timer for 5 bucks or so and adding it to one of the slots that is constant power, and have the extra timer for the third shift of light.

You don't want the lunar lights on at night? I don't understand.
I just leave the lunar lights on all the time. During the day, with the brighter lights on, they are essentially irrelevant. Unless there is a worry about them wearing out prematurely, why not just leave them on? One less timer.

Yes, my Lunar lights are on all the time. I think the other reason why I had to extend the powerstrip is that I needed more plugs.
You are correct that it doesn't matter if the Lunar lights are on during the day, but I thought that the question in the post was how to run the three different types of lights at different times using the one powerstrip.
