Any other vista users?!

I like Vista. I have Vista Home Premium/Vista Ultimate/Xp/Xp pro/OSX Leopard on my pc and I use Vista all the time.. If you know how to use it I think its awesome! I know many people who dont like it but if you ask why they have never tried it. That mojave experiment proves it.. Most people liked it..

Vista is pretty but that is the only good thing about it. Big memory HOG. Now I have a Mac Book Pro. Miss windows but now I'm running vista on the Mac so I can have MS Office. Vista runs alot faster on a Mac. So IMO vista is @@%$%@@@.

I have vista on one XP on another and even have a system with ME on it and Vista is horrible its on the fastest computer with the most RAM in it and its slower and more unrelible than the other 2 computers. That proves to me the program isnt that good and has a lot of flaws!!

There is lots of ways to fix that.. You can optimize the OS to make it faster. Its all in how you have it set up. I have a rig with 2gb ram and my server with 512mb. I can make Vista run the same on both.. It can be done.. Just like Xp it had LOTS of flaws when it came out dont forget. It just takes time for people to switch. Then again with windows 7 coming some what not to far away Vista might not have a chance. I like the comment on it being a memory hog.. Yes it is if not set up right.. For all of you Xp addicts that like the way Vista looks you can make your XP look like Vista fairly easy..

I got Vista home basic on my new computer and I like it pretty much except that window that pops up when you want to do something like, oh say, open windows mail when in IE. I mean, doesn't Microsoft know that Windows Mail is their own software and maybe, just maybe , it can be trusted? (not so much to be reliable or anything, but at least to not be malicious!).
I have used the Windows Community feature to troubleshoot a few problems I have had and it is actually helpful. I had to download a patch 'cause I couldn't delete some emails and got the info and the download that took care of it. Yeah, It's a royal PITA to have an OS with this many bugs in it but it's been pretty good for me. I also set up the automatic updates from Microsoft because I knew that I would need it!
I really like the feature on my new computer where I just push the off button and it shuts down properly and promptly.

I have not had any issues with the vista as an OS.. i am just annoyed with this thing..
OK say you have IE open and you put your cursor to the top of the screen to move the window, etc,,, Well if you go too high this bar pops down from the top of the screen. Its not part of IE its something vista has.
Its a bar with of all the Function buttons, F1, F2 and so on with a logo of there funtion i.e. volume, zooming utility, etc.. its called Vista Flash Card Case. and i think you can add and remove 'cards'. I think it has a purpose if you organized with functions you use often.
Im just sick of it popping down constantly.
Maybe it is something i enabled on accident and dont know how to disable
