Any Pennsylvanians or NewJersey-ites?

I live right near the Delaware Water Gap. Five minutes to get into Jersey. Does anyone know a good marine store around here? (South Jersey would take me about 2-3 hours and I don't really feel like that ride) Any suggestions?
Actually I'm an hour and half away from Staten Island or Manhattan as well. Any help would be so appreciated.
Thanks.

tropiquaruim in ocean twp. is very good. They have a real nice selection. There is also a place in woodbridge but I cant quite remember the name. I will look into it for you.

If you shoot down 22 east to the watchung area - The Reefs Inc. is first on the westbound lane. Then a few miles later, Ocean Gallery 2 is in the eastbound lane. Then about 5 to 10 miles later Pet Shanty is last in the westbound lane. Pet Shanty is good for inverts like snails, crabs and such. Ocean Gallery 2 (OG2) is OK for soft corals, leathers and some LPS. The Reef's Inc. (TRI) is the best but also generally the most expensive. It's great for SPS, and LPS and fish.

HookedonReefs, can that The Reef Inc. be in
Greenbrook NJ. ? The directory assistance didn't have one in Watchung.

the people at tropiquarium are real nice. They sold me a fish that broke out with ich and offered to replace anything that died if treatment failed. They also gave me 3 cleaner shrimp for free as well. I live right on the centeral shore line so trop is prob about 10 miutes away.

I'm from Scranton, PA. There aren't many good shops around this area, but I'm still looking.

What are you looking for ? There is a pretty good place called "Animal kingdom" on Staten Island . Nice fish and corals and the guys there really know their stuff.

Debbie, yes it's in Greenbrook.
Bot587 - you should check out New Jersey Reefers Club. We have monthly meetings with frag swaps and everything. Also, I work in Morristown - let me know if you want to trade frags.

That is the place i was thinking of.....Animal Kingdom. Staten island is so close to woodbridge. If there wasnt a bridge seperating them it would all be the same

Animal Kingdom is on the corner of Richmond Avenue and Amboy Road. Tel # 718 227 9453. They have an awesome walk around shark tank thats worth the trip by itself.

i get my coral from reef inc and ocean gallery, but right now me and my dad ar thinking of turning the reef back into a FOWLR cause we have a major algae issue, i try cleanin it but i just keeps comin back and i cant turn the lights off for one whole week since that will be reaaaaaallllll bad for the coral and clams we have

I just wanted to thank you for suggesting "Animal Kingdom" in S.I. They had great live rock, live sand, oceanic sea salt, and beautiful immaculate fish tanks. I'll definitely be a returning customer. Those other fish stores that were off of 22....thats approximately 3 hours from my house. Wouldn't normally take that kind of ride, but I AM visiting a friend down there this weekend...so maybe I'll get to check them out just this once. :jumping:
Thank you all again
