no puffer is that I know of.
Why I have heard of 1 or 2 that work out ok it could be an expensive trial and error

I know my guineafowl, striped dogface, dogface and porky puffers don't mess with any of my corals, but I know for a fact that they will eat almost any invert possible if given a chance.

I bought my 90g reef that had a dogface puffer in it. The guy had Acro, Hard corals, and soft corals in it. According to him it never bothered his corals!

no puffer is reef safe, it's just a matter of to what degree you can deal with. i have a valentini in my small reef and it has killed all my snails and picks at my corals constantly. i still like having him in there though. puffers may not eat corals but they chew on things in tanks to keep their teeth filed.

I am pretty sure the valentini puffer is.
they should be regarded almost exactly as a dwarf angel. Might work and might be the worse thing you ever did (at least they are easier to catch than an angel). Mine didn't bother a single snail, shrimp or crab (the hermits and valentini even ate algae sheets side by side). He did take a liking to my open brain (as most marginally reef safe fish will. something about the slime/mucus) which caused me to put the brain in my fuge. didn't bother any other coral.
