chem clean caused a crash in my tank. I used it four times and followed the directions perfectly. But the last time i woke up and all the fish were died. the verts lived though. probably the ox level in the tank as this stuff eats up ox. It never really did the job though the slime just kept comming back. and it really missed up your skimmer for a week. Water flow and the reduction of nitrates and phos. really worked haven't had any since.

also water changes too. Goby and water changes
it worked for me. its not the "prettiest" goby but it did the job for me. other sand sifters might work. I know it eats the stuff in the sand, but you have to deal with one problem at a time.

Yea, Cyno is mainly caused b/c of not enough flow. How many ph do you have, and where are they at?

all of these products will cause your tank to crash because it kills good bactaria as well just add more flow

chemi clean worked great for me. you only put a liiiitle bit...i think it could be easy to put to much. i didn't put in for more than one day because it was all gone. I have never had the red slime since then

I have used this product a couple of times, and yes i did the job. However, Any Bi-valve I had in the tank died with in 3 days. A Spiny Oyster, Several Flame Scallops, and a Pen Oyster. SO if you have any of these in your tank I highly recommend that you find another alternative. Since my Skimmer is working more effectivly, and I increased my Water Chang Regiment I have not had a problem.

i think some people are getting the little bottle of "redslime remover"
a new product antibiotic based .with plos loc or phos ban absorbers.
i have a 125g/35gsumpfuge
100#ls/cc 200#fiji lr
trites0 trates 0 amo 0
ph8.2 cal380 dkh8 phos 0
3,250wmh14k
9xturover/mag350canisterfilt/carbon on side
i tried syphon removal ,asteria snails keep it in check on rocks[quarter size
spots here and there] but a 2inx12in patch on sand keeps comming back
i cut back on feedings snails stared dying.pointed powerheads seemed to spread faster.this stuff scares me i had it once in my 55g like5months ago
it totaly engolfed my lr but didnt touch the cc subsrate .a lfs gave me some
fish meds ethromyocin or something and two days later it was gone .but
my water composition was messed up for a while .skimmer wouldnt work
till i acomplished 10 water changes .i remember him telling me its not reef safe
