Any Thoughts?

I have had about 6 false perculas for my 55gal tank in the past 8 months, but none seem to last more than a month or so, with the exception of one that got ick from a new fish that had been introduced im confused as to why I cant keep them. I use an R/O for my water, do weekly water changes, and everything else in my tank seems to thrive, but the thing im most confused about is their behavior, anyone ever heard of this kind of behavior?.... they stay mostly to the top of the water, on the far end from of the filter output, dont seem to sleep that i can see, they were always swimming, never resting, they ate fine, but the behavior just confuses me, any suggestions?

What other fish are in the tank. If you have a mean fish they may not sleep becuase they could get eaten.

well I really didnt have any other fish in the tank at that time... I did have a coral banded shrimp in the tank but I never noticed it bothering the clowns, in fact I had the same thought so i got one of the clowns and kept it as the only fish at first then w/ a partner clown and still the same from both. And my water has read fine for everything as far as i can remember, Im thinkin about trying it again though, its been a couple months since Ive had a clown so well see what happens. Thanks everyone
