Any trailer experts out there?

I am getting to be in the market for a utility trailer to tow behind my 4runner. I am looking to use it mainly for camping and for hauling yard waste, not bikes or cars or anything like that. My budget is to stay under $1000 if I can. I've seen a lot of these folding trailers where you get the framework and then you supply the plywood that is used as the floor of the trailer. They look a little flimsy to me though, but the price for them is great, at around $400-$500 or so. Does anyone out there in fishland have any experience with these things?

Normally they run 2x4 or 1x4 acrossed them not plywood. My friend next door and I moved a 10 person hot tub I got for him without a problem.Which if you are just doing yard waste I don't think it would be a problem for you.

I've seen several people use the fold up ones you can buy at harbor freight for a few hundred dollars. You have to add the plywood flooring but I've seen a couple of sportbikes hauled on them. I'm thinking about doing that for my bike to haul to the track.

I've been all over craigslist and havent found anything in my price range. They are mostly boat trailers, enclosed landscaping trailers or ones that are way bigger than what I am looking for.

Any idea off the top of your head what a 5x8 open trailer would go for?
