Any Vette owners out there?

Grumpy gills that's a sick looking Z06!!! I'd love to go that route but I can't get past the non removable top... I understand why they won't make a removable top but I'm going to have to go with the wind in my hair!

I was the same way but they said with a convertable the frame would not be stiff enough to handle the tork.

Thanks! Without a doubt, it's a must do mod! The exhaust sound alone was worth the money. The stock exhaust on a C5 has often been compared to sounding like a tugboat or like it's burbling under water. The Corsa Pacecar exhaust with the X-pipe gives it a nice Euro sport car sound. Not exactly but similar. The stock exhaust has a cross over tube that makes and "H" that doesn't flow too smooth. It get's some nice popping when it backs down also.
It actually idles and cruises quieter than stock, but when you open it up, it's loud but not obnoxious. Now if you really want to get some sweet (and loud) sound, put a set of long tube headers in the mix. I never got around to doing that but it was on my mind. I got too wrapped up in my Sportbike.
The vortek system claims it's worth 3.5/10ths in the quarter mile. It was definitley a seat of the pant's difference but I never ran it before I made the changes. The stock airbox has a opening about 2 x 4 inches that it has to breathe through so it get's much more air with the Vortek kit.

Not 200 mph, 192 I think in the literature!

That's crazy fast. I had a 2001 Z28 that I ran up to 158 one time and it sounded like it was going to come apart. (this was a solid car too)
I couldn't imagine going 192...
Can't say I wouldn't try it though...

Well I don't know if this is a mid life crisis for me but I hope to have one next September or sooner.
I just can't decide on what color.

After seeing the top speed run of the 2006 Zo6 on Youtube I'm thinking it would be nice to have one of those...

Man the new ZO6's are unreal. I just can't fathom driving one everyday. To have that kind of raw horsepower at your disposal!!!
