any1 else have mated clowns?

my mated clowns nip at each other once in a while. most of the time they follow each other throught the tank... being happy. is this normal???

My Daughter-in-law, who also posts here sometimes, has a mated pair of Maroon clowns, and the female is huge!! about a good 6+ " and beats the stuffing out of the male..unless she wants to mate...the they do the "shake my shimmy" dance with each other..The one nipping the other is probably the female...and this is "normal" for clowns..
Just try to watch she doesnt rip fins, or skin...

I have 2 mated pares one set of maroon and one set of clarks the maroons are a happy couple the female chases the male around and around and every once in a while they hang together the clarks I think are still getting to know each other or are not mature yet. they stay on opposite sides of the tank.
so to answer your question I think that the behavior is normal just make sure that your female don't beat up the male too bad

Hello... Our tanks have been running about the same time.. I want to say that I have a pair of Maroon clowns as well.. and they do seem to nip at each other from time to time.. although.. they are a happy couple..
