What exactly are you doing? You have me a bit confused here. Your fiancé lives in South America? If so, that is awesome that you are going to see her! I don't even want to know about the slaughter though.

Southerner born and raised here....
Not going more than 20 miles.
Well, as a Yankee..... J/K. I would travel but where to travel to? I like holidays at home, but would go somewhere if it was a holiday destination. Christmas in a hotel room is NOT Christmas to me. Sounds like it's going to be another quiet holiday with my son and myself.

nuthin' wrong w/stayin' home; but going away 4he holidays doesn't mean ur spending them in a hotel room. My folks r going halfway across the planet, but they'll be in the homes of close friends and relatives whom we barely ever get to see and TREASURE our time with.

Oh I completely agree. I guess my mind-set was thoughts of going to someone's place, or having that person come here. Not looking like that will be happening this year though. Time spent with family and friends is a BEAUTIFUL thing!! I hope their trip goes well Mimz

Heading up to New Hampshire to my father in laws. Hopefully they'll actually have some snow this year. My brother in law has a couple of snowmobiles that I am dying to play around with. They didnt have enough snow last year to use them.

Yep, My Fiance' lives and works in Colombia, we met through a mutual friend on a business trip down there for a department store catalog. I am working on a fiance' visa which takes a while so now I am stuck to going down every 3 months which I dont mind at all, in a matter of fact I love it down there.
