I have to admit, I like W.F. but I think he tries to hard sometimes and feel his humor is to contrived and unfunny sometimes. Kinda like Robin Williams..I think he should take is time and choose his comedy roles more carefully and not do every stupid comedic role that is dangled in front of him. Then I would appreciate him more.. just my 3 cents....

I can't get enough of Will. I like him. Besides, I challenge you to find someone else who has shot flames from a flute. Aqualung!

I love Will Ferrell....he plays the same kind of part almost every movie but it still works for me.
Chazz........"Night is a very dark time for me"
Jimmy........"It's dark for everyone, you douche"
Great stuff.....

I love the guy. Anchorman is actually my favorite movie....

I absolutely can not stand the guy. How many times is he going to play the same role in pretty much the same movie!!

I like him, but his promoting his new movie "Semi-Pro" coming out Friday is getting to be overkill. He is everywhere right now promoting it.

I kinda got that way with Adam Sandler, then he up and became a real actor
....But yeah I see where you are coming from, Will is funny but a bit over the top at times.

I'm with you on that. We were just talking about this yesterday. How many obscure sports can be mad into a movie? Come on, Dodgeball, Balls of Fury , Blades of Glory, SemiPro, etc ... And people wonder why I never go to the movies.

honestly you have to take it for what it is and just enjoy it as that . Its low brow comedy . not very thought provoking comedy , Just quick one liners , Tag lines . I dont mind the guy . Infact anchorman is one of my favorites . Again who can argue with a flaming flute?
Or news casters in a gang rumble ?

I like Will, although, there are many times I don't want to think during a movie. I just want to be mindlessly entertained. If you'd like to see him in a different role, rent "Stranger Than Fiction". I thought it was pretty good and it was nice to see him in a role out of his "normal" environment.

It seems like evey movie that is out/coming soon has him in it, and they're all the same. Personally I'm not a big fan.
I read somewhere that he's made 30 movies and hasn't gotten an award/nomination yet

What?? Dodgeball is hillarious! Ben Stiller cracks me up and so does his dad, Jerry Stiller, King of Queens is one of my fav. shows. The Heartbreak Kid is also a great movie starring Ben Stiller, laughed my butt off. I also love Will Farrell and Adam Sandler, he's done roles that weren't comedic well(Spanglish, Punch Drunk Love) but Robin Williams and Jim Carey annoy me.

His comedy is starting to go down hill. I loved SNL when he was in it, but now I dont get even near as excited as I would when I heard he has a movie coming out.
I guess like someone posted before "strike while the irons hot."
He's going to end up like Eddie Murphy. Taking whatever he can get.
