This is the last one I did, I will have to take a few pics of some of the other things as this laptop is my new one and i havn't put all the files, photos' and music back in yet...
I LOVE snowmen, and I collect all sorts of them, the snowman was suppose to be mostly blue with a bit of red, and I changed all the colors and made him sage green with a rust for accent.....they are my fav colors.

Hope you like it, let me know what you think!

Well not feeling really macho right now because I am hemming up my son's pants right now for school. Although 2 consolations, 1) I know I am going to do a crappy job of it, so while I can sew I just can't do it very well. 2) Tangman99 is asking about hardwood floors, and I put in all the hardwood floors in our house.
I will take a picture of the Santa X-stitch I am working on, and hopefully I will get it done in time for THIS Christmas. Although that is what I said last year.

I taught myself to cross-stitch when I was bedridden for the last two months of my pregnancy for our oldest daughter. I found it quite calming and relaxing. It helped me not to go stir crazy.
I eventually upgraded to stitching on linen. I really enjoyed watching it come together, like a painting. I mostly did scenes from nature, plantations or local birds, but some christmas and baby gifts too.
I have not done it in a few years, though. I can't see as good as I used to.

My mom does, she makes a wedding pic for everyone in the family that gets married and one for all the new babies. She finally accepted that I'm not popping out any kids and probably not getting married for a while so she made me a nice saltwater pic, it's a pattern from the 70s so it's kinda goofy looking with weird fish but I really appreciated the effort she went through to find and make it, she gave it to me a few months ago even though it's supposed to be my b-day present (dec. 15th). I'll have to get a pic of it on here.
